MP3

Frequency (kHz): Sets the frequency, or the number of times an event repeats, or number of vibrations produced by a signal or sound, in a given period. Frequency is measured in Hz. One Hertz is one cycle per second. In Blaze Media Pro, the settings are listed in kHz, or kilohertz.

Channels: Selects a channel, such as mono or stereo. A stereo signal consists of two separate audio channels, while a mono signal has one. A single audio data file may contain information for one, two, or in some cases, more audio channels. This means that stereo produces better quality sound.

MP3 Output Settings:

Use CBR: CBR is a constant bitrate used for encoding sound or video. It requires more storage space than other methods.
Use ABR: An MP3 file that has an average bit rate of 128 kbit/s transfers, on average, 128,000 bits every second. This is a typical setting.
Use Preset:
Medium: This preset VBR should provide near transparency to most people on most music. The resulting bitrate should be in the 150-180kbps range, according to music complexity.
Standard: This preset VBR should generally be transparent to most people on most music and is already quite high in quality. The resulting bitrate should be in the 170-210kbps range, according to music complexity.
Extreme: This preset VBR provides slightly higher quality than the "standard" mode. The resulting bitrate should be in the 200-240kbps range, according to music complexity.
